The 1st SIMP – AAG – ICC Multidisciplinary Research Festival – Senior High School Category was a resounding success, inspiring a new generation of researchers to explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative role across various disciplines. Held on June 24, 2024, at Immaculada Concepcion College (ICC), Caloocan City, the event brought together budding researchers, esteemed academics, and industry professionals for a day of intellectual exchange and discovery.
A Grand Gathering of Research Enthusiasts
The festival commenced with inspiring Welcome Remarks from Dr. Marcelino V. Agana, FRIM, School President of Immaculada Concepcion College, who emphasized the importance of research in fostering innovation and problem-solving. Joenel L. Carlos, CBMP™, Vice President for Operations and Systems Services at Ascendens Asia Group, delivered the Opening Remarks, encouraging students to embrace research as a tool for progress and transformation.
Inspiring Talks and Expert Insights
The event featured an insightful Plenary Talk, titled “Bridging the Digital Divide: Artificial Intelligence (AI)’s Transformative Role in Education,” delivered by Jacob B. Bueno, MBA, Community Lead at Future Protocol and Let’s Cook, and Coins Champion at Coins.ph. His discussion shed light on how AI is revolutionizing education, opening doors to greater accessibility, efficiency, and inclusivity in learning environments.
Facilitating the Plenary Speakers Introduction was Gema Nadunza-Quillopo, Principal of Immaculada Concepcion College, who underscored the value of AI in shaping research methodologies and its broader societal impact.

With over 200 research papers presented, the 1st SIMP – AAG – ICC Multidisciplinary Research Festival proved to be a platform for innovation, collaboration, and academic rigor.
