The Mastering Technical Writing for Research Paper training held on October 19, 2024, at Immaculada Concepcion College (ICC) was a resounding success. Organized by the Ascendens Asia International Research Institute (AAIRI)in collaboration with ICC’s Center for Quality Assurance, Research, and Development Studies, the event brought together over 30 research instructors eager to refine their technical writing skills.

The session featured Jhon Erlix R. Barrion, MA Psych, RPM, Assistant Division Chief at the Bureau of Education Assessment, Department of Education, as the esteemed speaker. With extensive expertise in research and education assessment, Mr. Barrion provided invaluable insights into structuring research papers, adhering to academic standards, and enhancing clarity and coherence in scholarly writing.
Facilitating the session was Mr. Benedict Darilag, Head of the Center for Quality Assurance, Research, and Development Studies at ICC. His guidance ensured a productive and engaging training environment, where participants actively exchanged ideas and discussed challenges in research writing.
