Exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Multidisciplinary Social and Ethical Research

The 7th SIMP – AAIRI – BCP Multidisciplinary Research Festival (7MRF) successfully brought together scholars, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Multidisciplinary Social and Ethical Research. Held from May 21 to 25, 2024, at Bestlink College of the Philippines (BCP), Quezon City, the event provided a platform for groundbreaking discussions and knowledge exchange.
A Gathering of Distinguished Leaders
The research festival was graced by esteemed academic and industry leaders who shared their expertise and insights. The event opened with Welcome Remarks from FDr. Dr. Maria M. Vicente, HFRI, DFRIEdr, DFRIEntr, DFRIM, President & CEO of Bestlink College of the Philippines, followed by Opening Remarks from FDr. Dr. Charlie I. Cariño, DFRIEdr, DFRIM, SFRIBA, RIIVPF, Vice President for Academic Affairs at BCP.
Adding to the event’s prestige, Mr. Angelito P. Pedreño, Executive Director of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Council, Inc., delivered an Inspirational Message, followed by Dr. Ronald L. Adamat, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), who shared his insights on the significance of research in higher education.
Celebrating Research Excellence
The 7MRF elimination round and recognition were led by Danika Christyn Astilla-Magoncia, MPA, Vice President for Research Education & Advocacy at Ascendens Asia Group. Researchers competed in various categories, presenting their findings on AI and its impact on society, business, education, and technology.

This year’s festival showcased groundbreaking research across multiple disciplines, emphasizing AI’s impact on social and ethical research. The research categories included:
