The 1st SIMP–AAIRI–BCP Bulacan Multidisciplinary Research Festival celebrated the outstanding research contributions of scholars from Bestlink College of the Philippines, Bulacan Campus, held in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. The event brought together over 500 young researchers, presenting studies across a wide range of academic disciplines, including Humanities and Social Sciences, Business and Education, Engineering and Information Technology, and Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
The festival recognized exceptional works, awarding 1st Place winners who also qualified for the 10MRF BCP Championship round, a national-level platform for multidisciplinary research excellence. Anchored on the theme “Research for Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainability” and organized in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Multidisciplinary Professions and Bestlink College of the Philippines. The event highlighted the importance of research as more than an academic requirement. It provided students with a meaningful platform to demonstrate critical thinking, analytical rigor, collaboration, and the courage to propose innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
Enhancing SHS Learning Through AI-Driven Gamification

In Engineering, Information, and Communication Technology discipline, authors Mark Joseph P. Cabodbod, Kerf Steven R. Apawan, David T. Esteban, Jhon Paul E. Flores, and Ivy May M. Estabillo earned 1st Place and qualified for the 10BCP MRF Championship Round with their study, “Effectiveness of an AI-Driven Gaming Education Platform Towards the Academic Performance of SHS Students.”

Their research explores the potential of a gamified, AI-driven learning platform as an effective study tool for Senior High School students. It highlights how integrating game-based elements with a spaced repetition system can enhance student engagement, motivation, and knowledge retention. Additionally, the study evaluates the platform’s real-world impact on students’ academic performance, emphasizing its capacity to foster active, self-directed learning compared with traditional study methods. This work exemplifies the innovative application of technology in education and demonstrates rigorous scholarly inquiry among young researchers.
Fostering Community Reintegration for Former Inmates

In the Humanities and Social Science discipline, the research study “The Reintegration of Graduates of Penal Institutions in the Society at Barangay Muzon, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan: An Assessment,” authored by Juhair Lucman Ali-Ramah, Dennis Ausan, Jericho Carillo, John Mark Dave Mortes, and Vlezz V. Cabuguas, also earned 1st Place and qualified for the 10MRF.

The study examines the reintegration of former inmates into the community of Barangay Muzon, focusing on societal acceptance and how factors such as family support, psychological well-being, community participation, and employment opportunities influence successful adjustment. Its primary objective is to identify the supports and barriers faced by graduates of penal institutions and provide practical recommendations to improve reintegration. The research emphasizes initiatives such as skills training, counseling services, and community awareness programs, all aimed at facilitating smoother reintegration, reducing stigma, and promoting social acceptance.
The recognition of these exceptional scholars at the 1MRF BCP Bulacan underscores Bestlink College of the Philippines’ Bulacan Campus commitment to nurturing academic excellence, innovation, and research with real-world impact. Through their dedication, these young researchers demonstrate the transformative potential of student-led studies across diverse disciplines.
AAIRI continues to encourage scholars, educators, and institutions to participate in future initiatives, fostering collaboration and advancing research that addresses the evolving challenges of today’s world.
